Cocktails with Curators

Ever wondered how historic archives and artifacts are transformed into world-class exhibitions? At Cocktails with Curators, you’ll hear directly from the curators and creative forces who shape CMC’s collections and stories. Enjoy cocktails and conversation inside Union Terminal or at our Geier Collections & Research Center while exploring the fascinating process of bringing history to life.

Layers

Layers is our annual adults-only night at the museum that blends science, technology, engineering, art and math into one extraordinary evening. Guests enjoy light bites from local restaurants, creative cocktails, explosive programming and after-hours access to CMC’s exhibits.

Since its inception, Layers has welcomed more than 3,400 guests and raised over $1M in support of the museum’s general operations.

Music in the Museum

Nestled near the Robert D. Lindner Family OMNIMAX® Theater is one of Cincinnati’s hidden treasures: the 1929 Grand E.M. Skinner Concert Organ. Though many walk past its case thinking it’s simply a relic, it comes to life as the centerpiece of Music in the Museum.

This concert series, hosted three times a year, fills Union Terminal with the magical sounds of this historic instrument—an unforgettable experience you won’t want to miss.

Stay tuned for additional opportunities to engage with Cincinnati Museum Center Philanthropy events throughout the year. Together, we’re making a lasting impact on our community.
